Therapeutic Exercise and Physical Activity (distance learning)
This module addresses two important challenges currently facing healthcare. Firstly, it addresses the need for healthcare professionals to facilitate lifestyle changes specifically around physical activity. Secondly, it improves our ability to use specific effective exercise to address therapeutic goals in a wide range of areas, for example, musculoskeletal practice and neurological rehabilitation. By using specific, effective exercise, service users can be helped to self-manage long-term conditions and rehabilitation can become more effective.
Who the course is aimed at
This module is aimed at physiotherapists and exercise professionals who work with or wish to work with patient populations.
