3 Sheffield festivals you need to go to
There’s always something brilliant going on in Sheffield. Often, it’s a new exciting venture, or a one-off, so keep your eyes and ears open. Every year though, there are favourites – events that are tried, trusted and loved by our students.
Here are 3 not to miss.
Every summer this music festival takes over the city, with 100,000 people watching bands across 5 stages in 3 parks around the city.
Our tip: After the festival a batch of super early bird tickets are released for next year's event. Plan ahead and save up to 50% on the cost of your ticket.
A week of unadulterated music, film, installation and performance. At venues across the city you’ll find screenings and discussions, live scores, performance and music.
Our tip: Look out for the outdoor screenings, which often take place in unusual venues.
Sheffield’s proximity to the Peak District makes it the perfect place for this festival of outdoor activities, featuring rock climbing, orienteering, mountain biking, running and more.
Our tip: This is about taking part — from bike polo to disc golf, have a go at something you’ve never tried before (or even heard of).
