'My masters fit around my business'
Jodie Marshall studied a masters in co-operative and social enterprise management and is also the founder of A Mind Apart theatre company which is a social enterprise providing accessible and professional training in performing arts.
‘Sheffield Hallam was the perfect place for me to do my masters alongside running my business based in the city. It made studying easier as I had access to everything I needed on my doorstep.
‘My lecturers allowed me to have necessary extensions when my business occasionally had to come first, and supported the growth of my business by sharing what I do with their networks in and out of the University.
‘Not only did I develop skills that have since benefited my career, I also built new networks and contacts.’
