'Knowledge Applied' means putting your learning into practice. On our undergraduate courses you'll do a work experience module each year, and on many courses you'll have the chance to take a full placement year.

If you complete a placement, you'll get an applied professional diploma as well as your degree.
Real-world projects
From design briefs to racing competitions, your project work could connect you to international organisations like Adidas, PlayStation, Gillette and Berghaus.
Our food and nutrition students have worked to reduce sugar levels in ASDA's products, while our fashion design students have won paid internships with Vivienne Westwood and ASOS.
There are student competitions and global contests to enter each year, from the Formula Student motor racing competition to head-to-head mock trials between law students at different universities.
