'The Venture Matrix students were a great source of support to staff and students in Silverdale School. They formed excellent relationships with our pupils, encouraging them to do well in the BiG Challenge competition. They quickly understood their needs and provided practical ideas and solutions to get the groups working together.'
Jo Charlesworth, school enterprise champion, Silverdale School
'The [Venture Matrix] students were well planned and resourced. They also had an excellent manner with the children, which is a difficult thing to balance. It was pitched at the right level and the children commented on how much they had learned. We hope to be part of similar projects in the future.'
Louise Greenwood, Herringthorpe Junior School
'The drama activity was a really worthwhile activity. It required little effort from me but provided a great result. Your [Venture Matrix] drama students created a performance that neatly fitted into, and enhanced, our curriculum. Our students loved it - it was a fun way for them to learn and it made them think.
'I would highly recommend Venture Matrix. Everything was efficiently organised and communications were prompt and clear. They were flexible and fitted into our activity perfectly making a tremendous difference to our students' experience of their Enterprise Day. In fact, the day wouldn't have been the same without them - we will definitely work with them again.'
Helen Robertshaw, subject leader PSHEE and citizenship, Tapton School

Ben Paxman, deputy head teacher, Totley School
The Children's Health Event was a very enjoyable morning. The [Venture Matrix] students had planned a good range of activities and kept the children engaged. Everyone was very positive towards the children and the children came away very enthusiastic and eager to share their experiences.'
Windmill Hill Primary School
'It was the Venture Matrix element of the work-based project module that enabled me to gain work experience with secondary school pupils, which in turn is what persuaded me to aim for a career in secondary education rather than primary education. For this I am very grateful, as without this realisation I may have chosen the wrong career path and wasted time.'
Laura Spence, graduate
'I found the opportunity to work outside the normal university environment incredibly valuable and it was fantastic that we were given the opportunity to work with such a forward thinking and progressive organisation.'

I'm sure this experience will be helpful for my future career'
