Covid guidance for visitors

Covid guidance for visitors

We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors back on site.

Our decisions about safety measures at Sheffield Hallam University are made in line with government and local public health guidance and will adhere to current restrictions. We strongly advise and recommend all visitors, staff and students to continue to consider the safety of themselves and others in respect of hands, face and space.

These are the things in place to keep you safe while you visit our campuses.

Visiting our Campus and Accommodation

Before attending

  • You should view the latest government guidance for safe travel before coming to campus.
  • If you feel unwell - if you develop any symptoms prior to your visit or receive a positive COVID test, we strongly advise you not visit the campus.

While on campus

  • Please keep a safe distance from others and follow signage around the campus.
  • Wearing a face covering when moving around indoors or in crowded indoor spaces is now personal choice.
  • We advise you to wash your hands regularly and carry hand sanitiser with you. We have wipes and sanitisers available across campus.
  • If you begin to experience any Covid-19 symptoms, you should return to home and follow the latest guidance.
