Research shows that 30 minutes of moderate exercise is good for your health. You could do this in one 30 minute session or over a few shorter sessions.
Before taking part in these sessions, make sure you are wearing flexible clothes and have window open to get some air flow. Most importantly, have a water bottle near to hand to stay hydrated and try to eat some form of protein afterwards.

Volunteering your time to help others can have a positive impact on your mental health. And there are still ways to volunteer during the pandemic – the Students’ Union has a range of virtual and socially distanced options.
You can use this time to call friends and family, or connect with fellow Hallam students on our Facebook Corona Community, managed by the Students’ Union.
If you practice a faith you may find it helpful to do this now. Take advantage of virtual worship and prayer so you can keep in contact with your faith community. If you would like to find out more about joining faith communities, contact the chaplain at firstname.lastname@example.org.
