Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) are part of the NHS. They offer free talking support for a range of conditions, including anxiety, low mood, stress, panic.   Currently their delivery is all online.

Managing Avoidance

Wednesday 16th March, 3 - 4pm

The session will include:

  • Signs and symptoms of anxiety
  • How avoidance can keep the problem going
  • Techniques to help you manage avoidance

Overcoming Anxiety and Worry

Overcoming Anxiety and Worry sessions are an opportunity for you to learn some helpful techniques to improve how you feel. These sessions are delivered by two NHS Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners who will help you learn techniques to overcome anxiety and worry.

Our Overcoming Low Mood sessions are an opportunity for you to learn some helpful techniques to improve how you feel. The sessions are delivered by two NHS Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners who will help you learn techniques to overcome low mood.

Mindfulness for Health is a free 9 week course which has been developed to help people living with the effects of physical health conditions.

First Steps in Mindfulness

First Steps in Mindfulness for Wellbeing is a free 4 week course which gives a practical introduction to mindfulness meditation, so that you can explore the benefits this can bring to your health and wellbeing.

Managing Health Worries

The four session group is open to anyone with health worries who would like to learn proven techniques to help manage their worry better, and overcome feelings of anxiety, stress and low mood.

Living Well with a Long-Term Condition

The Living Well with a Long Term Condition Course is for people living with a long term physical health condition who would like to help themselves better manage their long term condition and wellbeing. The course is 4 sessions over 4 weeks, each session is 1 hour long. There are usually between 10-15 people who will attend.

Living Well with Pain

The Living Well with Pain Course is a course with 5 sessions over 5 weeks for people who experience chronic pain (pain which is experienced for 6 months or more) and who want to find ways to help themselves manage and cope with living with pain.
