Summary

Jaydip is the former High Sheriff of South Yorkshire and a Deputy Lieutenant for the South Yorkshire Lieutenancy.

He has over 35 years’ experience as a clinical academic and has first-hand experience of healthcare provision, education and training in various settings through his international fellowships in Brussels, Sydney (Australia), Cambridge and Stanford (USA) and also through ongoing international research collaborations.

He has wide experience in teaching, training, research and innovation. He lectures widely and has been the chief investigator on several large international multicentre research projects. He was the Training Programme Director (ENT) in Yorkshire & Humber and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators. He has also served as Vice President of British Otolaryngology and Allied Research Society, Deputy National Specialty Lead (National Institute for Health Research), Member of Specialist Advisory Committee (Royal College of Surgeons) and Council member of Royal Society of Medicine.

Jaydip is also a Non-executive Director at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and a Trustee at South Yorkshire Community Foundation and Member of International Global Healthy Hearing Ears Collaborative.
