Housing 21: A new model for inclusive cohousing?

Project Director: Yael Arbell
Project Duration: 2022-2023

How will greater accessibility affect the practice and vision of cohousing? The project explores Housing 21’s new model of cohousing, that will deliver affordable, rented community-led homes to older people of modest financial means and from minoritized groups. We will work together with staff and prospective residents to understand what cohousing means to them and identify good practice for social housing providers and their tenants in a community-led setting.
