Postgraduate degrees
At Sheffield Institute of Arts (SIA) you can achieve an MA, PG Dip or PG Cert in an art/design-related subject, and we have also developed the MDes and MArt options (with creative professionalism in mind). Our research shows that employers are looking for designers and artists with postgraduate-level knowledge and some professional experience, so the additional year of our integrated four-year master’s would enable you to:
- study abroad on an exchange programme
- undertake a mentored project (where you are given advice and support from an external company)
- or complete a work placement.
