Higher and degree apprenticeships




We're home to the National Centre of Excellence for Degree Apprenticeships, a partner of the South Yorkshire Institute of Technology (SYIoT), and are the UK's second largest higher education provider of higher and degree apprenticeships.

Our 2026 Ofsted report praised our sector-leading apprenticeship provision. It highlighted our innovative and inclusive approach to delivery, and confirmed strong standards across four key areas.

We received the Educate North 2024 Apprenticeship Award in recognition of the work of our apprenticeship experts. We also won the Training Provider / Programme of the Year at South Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2024.

We're delighted to share our 2026 Ofsted results, with inspectors confirming strong standards in achievement, inclusion, leadership and governance, and participation and development, while curriculum, teaching and learning meet expectations. Inspectors also praised our innovative and inclusive approach to apprenticeship design and delivery.
