Facilities

Our outstanding facilities provide you with a range of learning spaces and creative media equipment from the workplace. They include

  • photography darkrooms and studios to process photos (take a virtual tour)
  • a TV studio with autocue, green screen and separate control room
  • a radio studio with an industry standard mixing desk and various outboard equipment
  • Apple and PC labs and video/sound edit suites
  • animation, stop motion and Pro Tools studios
  • the world's largest PlayStation lab and our own commercial game development studio, Steel Minions
  • the nearby Workstation is also used for production shoots, set building and teaching

In addition, you have access to our media store, where you can use or borrow production equipment such as cameras and microphones, supported by expert technicians. Take a virtual tour of the media store.

Our PlayStation™ lab has over 50 PlayStation™ kits where you gain professional development skills.
We have the world's largest PlayStation™ teaching lab.
Use the interview rooms in our radio studio to talk to multiple people on air.
Our radio studio provides you with facilities you will use in industry.

Experience using green screen technology by filming news reports and interviews.
Our editing suite.
Display your work in our end of year degree show.
