We have the most diverse range and largest network of teacher training placements in the UK, and an established reputation for producing high-calibre new teachers.

While you're on your placement we support you through university tutors, trained school mentors and other educational professionals. You can support and extend your learning through our activities in outreach and volunteering work through the schools and colleges liaison team.

The National Student Survey showed an overall student satisfaction rate of 89% in 2015 and, in many cases, 100% in subjects for teaching, academic support and learning resources.

The Newly Qualified Teacher survey reported that 91% of our primary trainees and 84% of our secondary trainees were satisfied with the overall quality of their course.

And we have excellent rates of employment. In 2014:

• 94% of our post-16 education and training trainees gained employment
• 99% of our secondary education trainees gained employment
• 97% of primary education trainees gained employment
