About
I am a part-time lecturer in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, primarily teaching on postgraduate programmes with a focus on advanced musculoskeletal assessment, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based rehabilitation. I also contribute to undergraduate modules when needed.
Alongside my academic role, I work as an Extended Scope Spinal Physiotherapist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. My clinical practice involves the advanced assessment, triage, and management of complex spinal conditions, building on over a decade of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
I began my physiotherapy career in 2012 after graduating from Cairo University and later completed a Master’s degree in Advancing Physiotherapy Practice in 2016, specialising in musculoskeletal care. My clinical background includes working in community MSK services and as a First Contact Practitioner in primary care.
My areas of interest include spinal assessment, rehabilitation, and the integration of evidence-based practice into both clinical and educational settings.
