Summary
Although my background is in humanities, I did a French degree followed by 10 years teaching English as a Foreign Language, I have always been interested in technology and its impact and effect on society. In 2018 I decided to complete a Computing conversion master’s at Sheffield Hallam University because I wanted to have a better understanding of how the modern technology that is changing our world works. I have been involved in teaching Computing ever since.

I have taught a range of computing topics, inlcuding databases, introdution to programming, IoT, Project Management and Research Skills for Computing.

I am a Trustee of the local charity WEST. Our aim is to encourage more women and girls to pursue careers in Engineering Science and Technology.

I supervise a wide variety of Masters Dissertation projects from Big Data and Computing students.
