Summary
I am a 0.5 Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Jewellery and Metalwork Course. I teach level 5 and level 6 students on the undergraduate degree in both the UK and on our collaborative course at the Hong Kong Design Institute.
I am an artist practitioner, with specialism within the field of metalwork and jewellery.
About
I am engaged with experimental practice led research. During daily meditative walks in the countryside around Sheffield and out into the Peak District, I attempt to pinpoint elements of occasional liminal moments. The challenge is to respond to these ambiguous concepts intuitively with materials and making.
Currently I am using the tangible, tactile, viscous nature of enamel to capture the instinctive nature of these moments.
