Summary

Anurag Bhatnagar is a Senior Lecturer with a strong background in Neuro Physiotherapy. He has been a member of both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) since 2010. Anurag holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Neuro Physiotherapy, which he completed in 2009-2010. His teaching expertise focuses on Neuro Physiotherapy, with a particular interest in integrating NHS practice, enhancing employability, and developing the softer skills required for success in the healthcare profession.

In addition to his teaching role, Anurag is passionate about research, specifically in the area of simulation in higher education. His research interests include simulated learning, simulated placements, and the use of technology to enhance the learning experience for students. While he has not published recently, Anurag is actively working on data from a recently concluded simulated placement study at Sheffield Hallam University and is a staff Doctoral candidate commenced his PhD in Oct 2024.  

Anurag also maintains clinical practice through a bank contract with an NHS trust and he also serves in an advisory capacity for an independent physiotherapy private practice.
