Ben Law
Lecturer
Summary
I am a lecturer in paramedic science. I teach across both integrated and foundation year modules in heath and social care.
About
I am experienced in education, management, and clinical practice, with a background in placement management and education at East Midlands Ambulance Service and Birmingham Children's Hospital.
I have a passion for clinical education, the development and improvement of key learning environments with a systematic quality improvement approach.
Additionally, as a registered Operating Department Practitioner I have a background as a team leader in pediatric anesthetics, surgery and recovery, specializing in Neuro', Cranio-facial, Emergency and Trauma surgery environments alongside transplantation services, as part of a Liver + Renal transplant team.
I am now applying my hospital-based expertise coupled with my time in education with the ambulance service to teach paramedic students across a range of theory and practical modules and wider healthcare students in both integrated and foundation year modules across heath & social care.
