About
I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University and started my Physiotherapy career in private hospitals in Yorkshire with a strong focus on musculoskeletal and orthopaedic presentations. I developed an interest in the use of isokinetic dynamometers and have continued to use them regularly throughout my career. I specialised in private MSK and sport clinics alongside my MSc studies in and developed an interest in the service user experience and implications for management. To conclude my MSc award I completed a research project investigating the expectations of physiotherapists in Olympic boxing. Throughout my career I have maintained an interest in research findings and their implications for clinical practice which inspired me to pursue a career in academia.
