Senior Lecturer
Summary
I joined Sheffield Hallam University in 2020 as an Associate Lecturer and joined full time as a Lecturer in 2022 before being promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2025. I completed my BA (Hons) Business and Management degree at Hallam and as a member of Hallam's alumni I have been a part of Hallam's community for over 12 years. The university has been an integral part of my leadership development journey over the years both in industry and as an academic.
My role includes a number of module leaderships including Consultancy Project and External Environment and I am also the Course Leader for the Professional Practice in Supply Chain Leadership degree apprenticeship (Open Cohorts). Alongside my role as lecturer I am currently completing a Senior Leadership MBA, further developing my leadership skills within an academic setting.
About
Since 2020 I have delivered modules across a number of departments at Hallam including Finance, Accounting and Business Systems, the Department of Management and also the Department of Engineering and Maths. I have been involved in the leadership and delivery of modules from foundation year to postgraduate levels of study. This involves taught delivery, module leadership and module development activities. I also hold the role of Course Leader for the Professional Practice in Supply Chain Leadership degree apprenticeship working collaboratively with the course leader in the operations and development of the course. I work with full-time, part-time and distance learners within my roles.
My main areas of interest are data and decision making and applied learning through external engagement activities such as consultancy projects. Prior to joining Hallam I enjoyed working in the food and retail industries and have been involved in a number of business development projects over the years. In addition to my role at Hallam I volunteer as a school governor and am part of the governing body of a school within a local academy trust.
