Christina King is the Business Development Manager for the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences, working in the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC), Centre for Sports Engineering Research (CSER) and Centre for Sport and Exercise Science (CSES). She specialises in income generation and business development. 

Originally from a mechanical engineering background, Christina studied a Master in Business Administration at Leeds University Business school. Her work has focused collaborating with external agencies such as Devices for Dignity (n 2013) developing Healthcare Technology business. She has worked in number of roles spanning manufacturing, management consultancy and now business development. Alongside strategy development and implementation, and new product design. She has been involved in successfully securing small and medium sized contract business at just under £3m (principle applicant) and multimillion pound programmes such as the Olympic Legacy: National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (£10m) and the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (£14m).
