I represent the UK/ ALL  on the Western Commission of the International Federation of French Teachers (CEO-FIPF) and was Vice-chair and Treasurer of the Commission until July 2012. I am now a trustee of the FIPF.

I am an active researcher and participant in local, national and international research networks relating to the development of learner/ teacher autonomy within formal educational contexts and assessment.
