About
I am Associate Lecturer for the Finance and Banking subject group at the Sheffield Hallam University. I am also working as Teaching Fellow in Finance at Management School of University of Liverpool. Previously, I held position as Assistant Professor in Finance at Eastern University. I have over 10 years experience of teaching at higher education level for both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
I hold BBA and MBA degree in Finance, and an MSc in Financial Management with Distinction from Sheffield Hallam University, funded by University scholarship. I am currently pursuing PhD in Finance, from the University of Liverpool, fully funded by a departmental scholarship.
Along with book chapter publication by Routledge, my scholarly works have been published in ABS and ABDC ranked journals with Google citation above 250. I have been awarded a number of research project grants. My research interest is in the field of Climate Finance, CSR, ESG and Corporate Governance. I am an advanced user of programming software STATA and possess knowledge of research database including Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, RepRisk, Zephyr and WRDS.
Apart from supervising Masters dissertations, I teach on a range of Finance modules including Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Portfolio Management, International Financial Management, Financial Risk Management. I am an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK.
