On graduating in 2006 Emma began working for a sub-contracting company as an Estimator and Quantity Surveyor. Her main duties included carrying out Site Surveys, Estimating, Contract Administration, Management and Health and Safety.
In 2011, Emma moved here to Sheffield Hallam University to take up a role as a Lecturer in Construction Cost Management.
She became a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the Quantity Surveying Course in September 2013. She also contributes to a number of other courses across the Built Environment Programme.
Currently Emma's main areas of teaching are Construction Cost and Finance, Measurement and Procurement.
Emma is a member of the Sheffield branch of the Chartered Institute of Building.
