Graham Bell BA(Hons) NPQH

Senior Lecturer

Summary

I am the Course Leader for both the Early Years and Primary Education programmes (3–7 and 5–11) at Sheffield Hallam University. My expertise centres on creative and interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning, with expertise in curriculum development, primary art, design and technology, and mathematics. I have taught across the full primary age range and previously worked as a Local Authority advisor for art and creativity. I also founded and led a successful education company. I lead on recruitment across all primary ITT routes. My research focuses on student engagement, belonging, and identity, and how these influence learners’ experiences within teacher education.
