A marketer with 15 years of frontline marketing experience working for a range of notable global brands, including; Bosch, Vodafone, Orange/EE Dun & Bradstreet and the Chartered Institute of Marketing I was an energetic and enthusiastic professional who was result driven decisive and collaborative. My planning was robust and coupled with sound marketing strategy, that delivered practical yet innovative marketing programmes across the full marketing mix that were on time and to budget.
In 2011 I took up place at the University of Warwick on the PGCE for secondary education and successfully completed the course. My first full time role in education was as at SHU where I gained the position of senior lecturer. In the intervening 3 years I have taught 13 modules and have led 4 modules. I currently lead on two modules of which one (Customers & Markets L4) is the largest module in the marketing subject group with over 400 students. I am a fellow of the HEA and in each my 3 years I have been nominated for inspirational teacher. In 2016 I became a senior lecturer.
I am a hands teacher who brings my real world marketing experiences into the classroom and mixes them with latest and best marketing theories. I work passionately for my students to give them the chance of realising their full potential and preparing them for life after their degree.
