Senior Lecturer


Summary

I am a Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management and have been teaching in universities and business schools since 2011, with much of this experience gained internationally. I am Level 4 Course Lead for the BA Business Management degree, module leader for modules at UG, PG, DA, and SLA level, as well as a contributor to the design and development of new modules at both UG and PG level. My research has focussed on how individuals navigate their careers.

About

My qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, an MBA, with my thesis on Intercultural Entrepreneurship: Case Study of Britons in Germany achieving a distinction, and a DBA, with my thesis titled Experience, Identity and Career of Professionals in Long-term, Non-standard Work Arrangements.

My previous experience comprises working in the UK, Spain and Germany, from MNCs, to startups, to self-employment. In Germany, I supervised over 120 bachelor and master theses, headed up the English Round Table at the FOM, and participated in recruitment and on-boarding activities for new staff.

In 2022, I moved to Sheffield Hallam University. In 2024, I completed the PG Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education with distinction, leading to fellowship of the Higher Education Authority. In 2025, I successfully completed I contributed to two chapters of the book “Responsible Human Resource Management”, published in late 2025. Since October 2024 I have been Level 4 Course Lead for the BA Business Management degree. I teach across a range of modules and courses, including “Responsible Global Business Management”, “Leadership, Change and Responsible People Practice”, “Understanding People and Cultures”, and “The Future of Work and HRM”.
