Mark Thompson

Dr Mark Thompson BEng(Hons), DPhil, PGCert, FHEA, MIET

Recruitment Lead (Dept. of Engineering & Maths)

Summary

I work with insitutions such as Selby College, Derby College, North Lindsey College, and employers such as Tata Steel, JCB and Rolls-Royce, to develop academic pathways for employee academic development. These might include foundation degrees, bachelors degrees through to masters qualifications.

These developments have helped improve links with colleges and employers, and have provided new pathways for progression to our part-time Top-Up awards.
