I currently work as an AHRC-funded postdoctoral researcher at Sheffield Hallam University on the project “Reading Post-Postmodernist Fictions of the Digital: Narrative, Technology, and Cognition in the Twenty-First Century” with Prof. Alice Bell.
About
I hold degrees in Modern Languages, Translation and Comparative Literary Studies. I studied for my BA at the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece before coming to London to do my Masters degree at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2011.
Between 2012 and 2023, I worked as a library assistant in four different UK libraries while I was studying for my Masters and PhD. I translated Jules Verne’s Meridiana: The adventures of three Englishmen and three Russians in South Africa (2011) into Greek and Head over heels in Paris by Dora Milatou-Smith (2012). I am an active freelance translator working from and into Modern Greek and English.
I have taught courses in Literature and English and have presented my work in UK conferences and abroad.
