I'm an award-winning scriptwriter/playwright who lectures in scriptwriting at Sheffield Hallam part-time. Totally passionate about scriptwriting, I love working with new writers, helping them to develop their scripts to industry standard. Formerly an advertising copywriter, I can also give advice on other careers in professional writing.
I've written for TV series such as Shameless, Doctors and Murphy’s Law, and my original comedy drama series, Village Life, has been transmitted on BBC radio. I've also had numerous original TV and film projects commissioned and in development. I won a British Screenwriters' Award in 2016 for my short film script, More. In 2017 my debut stage play, The Black Eye Club, won a national playwriting award and premiered in London. My second stage play, Maybe This Time, was showcased by Redgates Theatre in 2018. My new stage play, Dad, is being produced by Full Disclosure Theatre in 2019. I'm represented by The Agency, London.
