About

Endorsed by the sporting world as a champion for social justice, who embraces equality, diversity, and inclusion, I am an excellent ambassador which has resulted in tremendous gains for Higher Educations Institutions (HEIs), global scholars and external organisations. As a world leading educational strategist, I continue to deliver sustained impact and contribution on policy and practice in pedagogical excellence.

I make substantial contributions to governing bodies, industry, and global sport organisations by developing, implementing, and leading innovative, educational initiatives. As an internationally acclaimed authority on learning and teaching within sport management, the application of my knowledge directly influences global education and results in positive impact on an international level across six continents, shaping curriculum development, delivery, and impactful student outcomes.

I strategically lead academic expertise with numerous partners, I am currently the President of the World Association for Sport Management (WASM); Executive Board Member of the International Council for Sport Science & Physical Education (ICSSPE) and Board Member of the Chartered Institute of the Management of Sport & Physical Activity (CIMSPA) Workforce Skills Observatory. These boards comprise world leaders in research and practice in the field of sport and work to embed impact with influential partners, such as the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the United Nations Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
