Siavosh teaches computer networking, network security, network design, network troubleshooting and virtualization at both MSc and BSc levels. He is a certified expert level Cisco networking academy instructor with many years industry experience in designing, implementing and managing IT solutions in mission critical networks. He is extremely passionate about innovative ways of learning and teaching computer networking in higher education.
He has an MSc in Computer Networks and a BSc in Software Engineering. Working in the industry for more than a decade, both as a senior network engineer and a network manager in mission critical networks, has given him the ability to draw on previous experiences to design innovative practical teaching and learning environments.
In an area which evolves as fast as computer networking, Siavosh understands the importance of maintaining an up-to-date portfolio of expertise and certifications. He is a certified expert level Cisco networking academy instructor, with more than 8 years expertise in developing, utilising and adapting teaching materials used by Cisco networking academy. He is constantly working on development of new modules at all levels in computer systems and network subject group.
Siavosh is course leader for MSc Advanced Computer Networks, and teach on different MSc and BSc programmes including Web and Cloud Computing and Computer Networks.
