Doctor Yvonne Battle-Felton MA, PhD

Lecturer in Creative Writing and Creative Industries


I am interested in the power of stories to build community, public engagement, and creating opportunities for students and communities.




I am co-director of North West Literary Arts, an arts organization that aims to create opportunities and platforms for diverse writers and audiences. We develop Stories at the Storey and North West Literary Salon. I also write Creative Nonfiction, Children's Nonfiction, and short stories.
