Summary
Dr Ziqing Wang is a Lecturer in Economics at Sheffield Hallam University. She joined Sheffield Hallam University in August 2021 after completing her PhD in Economics at Cardiff University, where she was awarded a prestigious Julian Hodge Scholarship. Ziqing also holds an MRes in Economics and an MSc in International Economics, Banking and Finance, graduating with First Place honours. During her time at Cardiff University, she gained valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant.
Ziqing's research interests focus on applied macroeconomics, policy analysis, sustainable economics and DSGE modelling. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she has developed a strong teaching portfolio, having taught a range of subjects across different levels, including macroeconomics, econometrics, financial economics, and statistics.
