On Thursday 20 June Dr Nick Peake welcomed Maria Luisa Addarii, a representative from Bowel & Cancer Research to give a tour around the BMRC and the associated labs. They met to talk about Nick’s latest project on bowel cancer metastasis and discussed future public engagement opportunities.

Maria said: “What a wonderful experience to visit to the labs of the Biomolecular Sciences Research Centre at Sheffield Hallam University, in which we are supporting a PhD project on the role of extracellular vesicles in relation to bowel cancer metastasis.
