In recognition of his community cohesion work through education and extended dedicated Muslim Chaplaincy Service at Sheffield Hallam University, Senior Lecturer Dr Akram Khan attended the Queen’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 21 May 2019. The party was attended by over eight thousand people including diplomats and local dignitaries as well as Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge and her Majesty the Queen.
