Doctoral student Mootaz Salman was invited to attend the prestigious CAJAL-International Society of Neurochemistry training course ‘Glial Cells in Health and Disease’ in order to advance his knowledge in this specialised area of Neuroscience.

Mootaz was one of four applicants (out of 170) who was awarded the CAJAL Full Stipend Award of €2,500 to cover the costs of the conference, which took place in Bordeaux, France, from 27 November to 10 December 2016.
