Phil attended the 7th EuCheMS (European Chemical Sciences) Chemistry Congress, 26 - 30th August in Liverpool, and won a poster prize in the area of 'Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry'. His poster was entitled 'A study of small molecular probes for the lysine specific demethylase 1 enzyme'.
