PhD student Cameron Heaton is spending five weeks at the Maastricht MultiModal Molecular Imaging Institute (M4I), Maastricht University, analysing 1200 fingerprint samples with MALDI mass spectrometry.

This Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) was made possible by grant funding from the European COST action CA16101 - MULTI-modal Imaging of FOREnsic SciEnce Evidence (MULTIFORESEE). The main objective of this action is to promote innovative, multi-informative, operationally deployable and commercially exploitable imaging solutions/technology to analyse forensic evidence.
