In November 2015, Abbey Thorpe and Joseph Snuggs, both PhD students in the BMRC, flew out to Philadelphia to attend the Spine Research Philadelphia Conference.

This time Abbey Thorpe was awarded Best Poster in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine for her poster presentation on Thermally Triggered Injectable Hydrogel Which Induces Mesenchymal Stem Cell Differentiation to Promote Regeneration of the Intervertebral Disc.
