PhD student Mootaz Salman was successful in a number of travel grant applications including the Guarantors of Brain Travel Award of £800, Company of Biologists Travel Fund from the Society of Experimental Biology £450 and British Pharmacological Society Bain Memorial Bursary Fund support of £274.

These travel grants helped towards costs of participation at the 10th Annual Canadian Neuroscience Meeting in Toronto (29 May – 1 June 2016), the Gordon Research Conference (GRC) and Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) Phosphorylation and G Protein Mediated Signalling Networks held in Maine, USA, (5-10 June 2016) and the 10th FENS forum of Neuroscience in Copenhagen, Denmark (2-6 July 2016).
