At the event, experts drawn from business and education will offer solutions for the north's skills future.
Held at the new Strines Building, part of our brand new city centre redevelopment project and host of the South Yorkshire Institute of Technology’s newest learning space, you will have an opportunity to quiz the panel and tour the state-of-the-art facilities.
We will look at the need to lift the region's talent base into higher-skilled jobs, and the role which degree apprenticeships play in that. How are schools, colleges and universities encouraging people to continue their learning, and how are employers maximising the potential of future talent?
And as the government continues to solidify its skills agenda and priorities, how should businesses, education providers and public services navigate this period of change?
