The national programme is jointly funded by Innovate UK and your organisation, where Innovate UK will provide up to 67% of the grant, depending on your organisation’s size.

KTPs cost an average of £90k per year with:

• non-for-profits contributing an average of £22.5k
• SMEs contributing an average of £30k per year
• large organisations contribute on average of £45k per year

The cost contributes not only to a high-calibre, recent graduate working full-time at your organisation but also:

• access to Sheffield Hallam’s world-class labs, libraries, and other resources
• an average of 0.5 days a week of expert academic time
• support from the experienced KTP office at Sheffield Hallam University
• the development of a strategic project that will drive competitive advantage through embedding expertise, knowledge and adoption of a culture of innovation
