Why did you sign up to the Help to Grow Management course?
As my role changed within the business, I wanted to develop my professional knowledge and gain confidence as an effective leader.

How are you fitting the programme around your work?
A common theme throughout the course was ‘spending more time on the business, not in it’. The course helped me to step away from the day-to-day operations and take a helicopter view of the business to understand how I could improve critical aspects that I may have previously missed. I time-blocked hours out of my diary to focus on the course.

What has been the most useful part of Help to Grow: Management course so far?
Every module featured elements that were relevant to the business. Having the opportunity to discuss with other like-minded people in the cohort was a great way of learning and developing ideas to implement in the business.

How has your mentor and peer network supported your learning and overall experience of the course?
Having a fantastic mentor has been one of the many highlights of participating in this course. Every session was beneficial in providing constructive ideas to work on back in the business. Having a mentor really accelerated both my professional and personal development as a leader and helped me to reflect on my experiences.

Which module have you found the most interesting or challenging?
Although, I found all the modules very interesting, Employee engagement and leading change was a stand-out topic for me. There was some practical advice on how to maintain a positive culture and focusing on the people within the business.

What would you say to other business leaders who are about sign up to the course?
I highly recommend this management course for anyone wanting to develop their business. This course will be beneficial to anyone with a desire to continually improve their business.
