Discover the beautiful town of Matlock, on the edge of the Peak District. This traditional English town is a lovely place to explore, with riverside walks, local shops, and great views of the surrounding hills. It’s a great way to see more of the UK outside the city.
While you're there, you can choose to visit the Heights of Abraham, a famous local attraction. If you buy a ticket (around £26 if you buy online, even cheaper if you travel by public transport), you’ll take a cable car over the valley and enjoy a guided tour of underground caverns—a real highlight!
We’ll travel together by public transport, which will cost about approx. £5 each way. You can choose to just explore the town for free, or pay to join the cable car and tour if you'd like.
