The Voluntary Action Research Group at Sheffield Hallam University is one of the leading academic centres for research into voluntary action and voluntary organisations. Our aim is to undertake research and evaluation which helps local, national and international voluntary organisations and their funders and partners demonstrate the impact they have, and to show the importance of voluntary action in everyday life.
