Human Animal (This Moment Here)
This strand of Chloë Brown’s research investigates a particular use of animals as substitutes for human experience, questioning notions of anthropomorphism and through this, narrative fictions. The resulting work makes specific references to animal characters found in children’s narratives, cartoons and films highlighting the use of the animal as a signifier of human emotion and experience.

Telehealth and Care Technologies is a core theme of Collaboration in Leadership for Applied Research and Healthcare (NIHR). The overarching aim of this theme, led by the University of Sheffield, is to produce a step change in knowledge and practice in the design and use of telehealth and care technologies in services that are effective, cost-effective and are usable by the broadest possible range of people.
