Discovering a Nursing Career in General Practice

James McMillan completed his BSc (honours) Psychology degree at Sheffield Hallam University and now he is working as an assistant psychologist.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and in terms of practice experience I have worked in both private practice and also as an in-house legal adviser in local government. For instance, as part of Manchester City Council's Legal Department I advised the Council on the contracts needed for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Currently teaching a number of film theory modules on the BA (Honours) Film and Media Production course, Peter is also an award-winning film-maker whose work has screened widely on the international festival circuit.
