Continuing personal and professional development for the London health workforce

To meet the training needs of the modern NHS, we work closely with clinical colleagues, commissioners, service users and workforce and education leads. We are already working in partnership with Health Education Yorkshire & The Humber, Health Education North East, Health Education North West and Health Education East Midlands - and now with the Health Education London regions.

Our workforce development modules:

  • are ideal for continuing personal and professional development (CPPD)
  • can help your professional practice stay up to date
  • cover theoretical perspectives and research to strengthen your clinical decision making
  • have been delivered successfully by distance learning to both a national and international audience for several years
Module themes

Distance learning

Our modules offer flexible and cost effective training, enabling your budget to go further. Most of our modules are delivered via distance learning, meaning your staff can learn flexibly, can fit their studies around existing work commitments, and immediately put learning into practice.

For distance learning students, there is no need for campus attendance as our modules are delivered via a range of virtual learning spaces including Blackboard, PebblePad and Google Apps. This allows you to study at the time, place and pace of your choosing. A small number of our modules are delivered by blended learning, where attendance at a small number of taught study days (usually delivered in blocks) is required with the remainder of the module delivered by online learning.
